Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.97% or 13.4 points to trade at 692.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.49% or 12.8 points to end at 872.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.20% or 104 points to 8776 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 4.71% or 9.0 points to trade at 181.9 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 4.61% or 15.7 points to end at 325.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.36% or 2.6 points to 715.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 50 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.49% or 12.8 to 872.6.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.24% or 0.79 to $63.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.62% or 0.45 to hit $71.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1282.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.24% to 6.6416, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4661.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 97.053.
