Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which rose 4.68% or 6.2 points to trade at 138.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 2.57% or 17.5 points to end at 698.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 1.06% or 6.0 points to 573.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 1.90% or 6.5 points to trade at 335.0 at the close. COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) declined 1.67% or 8.5 points to end at 500.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 1.25% or 160 points to 12600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 69 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.51% or 0.93 to $60.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.32% or 0.86 to hit $64.83 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.66% or 7.80 to trade at $1178.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.83% to 6.6446, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.71% at 95.26.
