Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.38% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.54% or 39.0 points to trade at 1140.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.18% or 6.5 points to end at 305.2 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.77% or 8.40 points to 482.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 3.17% or 8.1 points to trade at 247.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.67% or 150 points to end at 8842 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.53% or 3.20 points to 205.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 53 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.11% or 0.06 to $55.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.52% or 0.34 to hit $65.25 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.25 to trade at $1328.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.5596, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 96.042.
