Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.22% or 478 points to trade at 9638 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 2.23% or 3.6 points to end at 164.8 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 1.81% or 17.8 points to 1000.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 5.16% or 4.50 points to trade at 82.64 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 1.97% or 4.1 points to end at 203.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 1.28% or 9.0 points to 692.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 65 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 1.81% or 17.8 to 1000.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.08 to $39.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.43% or 0.18 to hit $41.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 3.50 to trade at $1907.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.59% to 6.3582, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4420.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 94.065.
