Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.22% or 7.10 points to trade at 327.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 1.40% or 10.20 points to end at 736.20 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 1.11% or 25.00 points to 2,275.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which fell 2.71% or 34.00 points to trade at 1,219.50 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.94% or 17.20 points to end at 868.80 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.50% or 185.00 points to 12,170.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 62 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.94% or 17.20 to 868.80.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.61% or 0.52 to $84.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.57% or 0.51 to hit $89.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 3.70 to trade at $1,938.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 105.89.
