Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.26% or 3.9 points to trade at 176.3 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.64% or 270 points to end at 16770 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.47% or 230 points to 15880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which fell 1.54% or 44 points to trade at 2822 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 1.27% or 2.0 points to end at 151.1 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 1.22% or 10.80 points to 877.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 74 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.23% or 0.19 to $81.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $84.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.95 to trade at $1769.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.4120, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.993.
