Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.79% or 3.5 points to trade at 199.5 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 1.76% or 11.2 points to end at 646.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was up 1.62% or 4.1 points to 257.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 2.67% or 7.0 points to trade at 255.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 0.48% or 0.5 points to end at 103.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 0.44% or 1.4 points to 317.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.96% or 0.58 to $59.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $66.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1413.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.6300, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4675.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 96.525.
