Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.35% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 7.86% or 9.3 points to trade at 127.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.90% or 40.5 points to end at 1435.0 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.18% or 9.6 points to 821.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.98% or 8.3 points to trade at 200.1 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 2.19% or 6.4 points to end at 285.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.82% or 1.6 points to 86.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CSE:GMAB) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.90% or 40.5 to 1435.0. Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; down 1.82% or 1.6 to 86.4.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.99% or 1.65 to $53.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.52% or 0.89 to hit $57.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.64% or 25.15 to trade at $1554.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.7986, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.928.
