Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which rose 1.75% or 4.4 points to trade at 256.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.46% or 4.7 points to end at 323.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was up 0.92% or 5.4 points to 592.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 2.21% or 4.8 points to trade at 212.6 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 1.08% or 2.4 points to end at 220.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 0.88% or 5.2 points to 586.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 54 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) fell to 5-year lows; falling 1.08% or 2.4 to 220.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.10% or 0.61 to $56.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.38% or 0.86 to hit $63.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.35 to trade at $1426.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.6566, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4668.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 96.933.
