Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.34% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 1.93% or 10.6 points to trade at 559.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.88% or 12.4 points to end at 673.4 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.64% or 19.0 points to 1180.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 1.11% or 3.3 points to trade at 293.5 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.87% or 2.6 points to end at 297.1 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.51% or 1.3 points to 253.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.24% or 0.69 to $56.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.80% or 0.52 to hit $65.59 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.79% or 10.30 to trade at $1288.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.5866, while EUR/DKK fell 0.07% to 7.4616.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 96.627.
