Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Consumer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 2.66% or 2.15 points to trade at 82.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.40% or 4.5 points to end at 325.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.06% or 2.6 points to 247.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 1.66% or 0.60 points to trade at 35.54 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 1.43% or 3.1 points to end at 214.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.11% or 7.0 points to 624.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 59 to 58 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.40% or 4.5 to 325.0.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.20% or 0.10 to $50.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $56.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.44% or 18.90 to trade at $1297.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.2347, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4403.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 92.02.
