Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 7.47% or 22.9 points to trade at 329.4 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.18% or 185 points to end at 8690 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.16% or 196 points to 9260 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 5.44% or 19.3 points to trade at 335.6 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.60% or 2.3 points to end at 382.7 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.54% or 1.7 points to 316.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 49 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to all time highs; gaining 7.47% or 22.9 to 329.4.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.11% or 2.05 to $67.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.77% or 2.01 to hit $74.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1202.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.4333, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.03.
