Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.51% or 17.0 points to trade at 501.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.13% or 4.4 points to end at 211.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.46% or 6.0 points to 417.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 3.02% or 29.8 points to trade at 958.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.97% or 4.2 points to end at 426.8 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.78% or 5.6 points to 708.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 47 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.52% or 1.04 to $67.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.49% or 0.38 to hit $78.10 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1301.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.3811, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4431.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.09.
