Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 2.56% or 10.90 points to trade at 436.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.93% or 11.8 points to end at 621.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.91% or 11.2 points to 598.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 3.44% or 11.9 points to trade at 333.8 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.95% or 282 points to end at 9292 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 2.03% or 5.3 points to 256.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 52 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.63% or 0.39 to hit $62.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.45 to trade at $1243.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.5885, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4631.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 97.015.
