Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 6.13% or 24.8 points to trade at 429.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) added 2.09% or 3.3 points to end at 161.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.78% or 9.4 points to 537.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which fell 4.27% or 9.6 points to trade at 215.4 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.37% or 4.2 points to end at 301.3 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.16% or 100 points to 8534.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 57 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.35% or 1.48 to $61.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.20% or 1.61 to hit $71.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1228.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.5301, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4591.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.07.
