Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding A/S (CO:DEMANT), which rose 5.10% or 10.7 points to trade at 220.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 4.61% or 12.4 points to end at 281.6 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 2.11% or 15.0 points to 726.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 2.44% or 7.5 points to trade at 299.5 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.04% or 2.4 points to end at 113.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.66% or 4.4 points to 260.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.04% or 2.4 to 113.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.06% or 0.66 to $61.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.15% or 0.82 to hit $70.42 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1285.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.6837, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4661.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 97.493.
