Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.49% or 7.60 points to trade at 313.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.37% or 13.50 points to end at 583.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.36% or 270.00 points to 11,690.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which fell 1.28% or 5.60 points to trade at 432.50 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 1.12% or 2.30 points to end at 202.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.06% or 1.00 points to 1,805.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 58 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.87% or 0.70 to $81.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.77% or 0.65 to hit $84.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 10.50 to trade at $2,341.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 105.17.
