Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which rose 1.32% or 4.60 points to trade at 351.90 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.26% or 185.00 points to end at 14,865.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 1.25% or 180.00 points to 14,540.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 8.70% or 58.00 points to trade at 608.50 at the close. Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) declined 3.29% or 8.00 points to end at 235.10 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.50% or 2.60 points to 170.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 62 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.58% or 0.47 to $81.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.74% or 0.64 to hit $86.80 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 3.80 to trade at $1,927.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 101.91.
