Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 7.45% or 9.40 points to trade at 135.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 4.13% or 59.00 points to end at 1,486.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 3.98% or 3.80 points to 98.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.86% or 15.20 points to trade at 801.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 1.09% or 16.50 points to end at 1,500.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 1.08% or 7.60 points to 694.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 55 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.08% or 7.60 to 694.60.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.84% or 0.59 to $70.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.18% or 0.86 to hit $74.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 7.44 to trade at $2,654.56 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 7.12, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 106.85.
