Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.81% or 305.00 points to trade at 11,155.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.58% or 270.00 points to end at 10,720.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was up 2.30% or 14.00 points to 622.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 3.44% or 4.80 points to trade at 133.20 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 3.00% or 27.20 points to end at 879.60 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 2.71% or 7.20 points to 258.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 44 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.22% or 0.15 to $68.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.24% or 0.17 to hit $72.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 12.20 to trade at $2,594.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.50% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 106.28.
