Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.33% or 10.8 points to trade at 821.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 1.18% or 6.2 points to end at 533.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.74% or 160 points to 21880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 2.10% or 4.2 points to trade at 193.9 at the close. Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) declined 2.03% or 15 points to end at 723 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 1.91% or 55 points to 2822.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 75 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.18% or 6.2 to 533.4. Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) rose to 5-year highs; up 0.74% or 160 to 21880.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.73% or 0.55 to $76.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.83% or 0.65 to hit $78.87 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 2.25 to trade at $1811.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.5703, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4359.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.097.
