Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 2.16% or 6.5 points to trade at 308.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) added 1.91% or 3.3 points to end at 176.1 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.30% or 9.4 points to 731.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CO:DEMANT), which fell 3.69% or 7.4 points to trade at 193.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 3.59% or 4.3 points to end at 116.8 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 2.82% or 8.2 points to 282.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 67 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; losing 3.59% or 4.3 to 116.8. Shares in Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.30% or 9.4 to 731.0. Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.82% or 8.2 to 282.8.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.22% or 0.13 to $59.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.21% or 0.14 to hit $67.10 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.57% or 20.65 to trade at $1296.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.6467, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4649.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 96.735.
