Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.25% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 1.27% or 0.96 points to trade at 76.84 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.13% or 4.3 points to end at 385.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.13% or 4.0 points to 357.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.51% or 175 points to trade at 11430 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.18% or 130 points to end at 10930 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 1.05% or 4.6 points to 434.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 53 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.67% or 1.03 to $62.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.24% or 0.84 to hit $68.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 8.50 to trade at $1311.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.2470, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4468.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 92.32.
