Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.57% or 10.00 points to trade at 399.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.32% or 13.00 points to end at 995.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) was up 1.12% or 10.50 points to 949.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 5.16% or 670.00 points to trade at 12,315.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 4.68% or 590.00 points to end at 12,020.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 1.61% or 48.00 points to 2,930.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) rose to all time highs; rising 1.12% or 10.50 to 949.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.57% or 0.48 to $84.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.45% or 0.39 to hit $87.82 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 23.60 to trade at $2,393.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 104.62.
