Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 1.84% or 6.80 points to trade at 377.30 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.78% or 3.7 points to end at 212.1 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.31% or 4.9 points to 377.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.19% or 212 points to trade at 9474 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.89% or 175 points to end at 9090 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 0.72% or 3.0 points to 415.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.76% or 1.73 to $60.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.52% or 1.66 to hit $64.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 9.00 to trade at $1326.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.0124, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 89.69.
