Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 4.20% or 8.40 points to trade at 208.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 2.79% or 5.40 points to end at 199.10 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.74% or 262.00 points to 9,824.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.63% or 11.80 points to trade at 313.00 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 2.77% or 57.00 points to end at 2,004.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was down 1.75% or 7.20 points to 405.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 53 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.67% or 0.52 to $78.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.61% or 0.51 to hit $83.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.02% or 23.45 to trade at $2,332.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.09% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 104.93.
