Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 4.36% or 6.20 points to trade at 148.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 3.40% or 10.50 points to end at 319.30 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 2.44% or 8.70 points to 365.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.64% or 6.30 points to trade at 378.90 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.65% or 1.28 points to end at 195.20 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.58% or 0.65 points to 111.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.40% or 10.50 to 319.30.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.65% or 1.24 to $76.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.55% or 1.24 to hit $81.28 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $2,016.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.43% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 103.37.
