Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 2.23% or 6.5 points to trade at 295.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.07% or 9.8 points to end at 928.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.73% or 2.5 points to 343.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 3.18% or 3.8 points to trade at 115.6 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 2.04% or 4.1 points to end at 196.7 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 1.90% or 9.8 points to 505.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 38 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.27% or 0.15 to $56.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.72% or 0.48 to hit $66.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.24% to 6.5188, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4624.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 96.09.
