Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.19% or 250.00 points to trade at 11,680.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.68% or 190.00 points to end at 11,470.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.66% or 4.50 points to 682.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 3.31% or 3.80 points to trade at 111.00 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) declined 2.65% or 13.60 points to end at 499.20 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 2.07% or 3.35 points to 158.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 100 to 43 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.31% or 3.80 to 111.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.19% or 1.93 to $86.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.92% or 1.77 to hit $90.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 3.75 to trade at $1,990.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 105.56.
