Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.98% or 765 points to trade at 19975 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.52% or 640 points to end at 18800 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 3.26% or 3.80 points to 120.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 4.46% or 8.9 points to trade at 190.7 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.85% or 11.3 points to end at 385.8 and Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.12% or 18.40 points to 848.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 75 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.36% or 2.29 to $70.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.89% or 2.07 to hit $73.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.25 to trade at $1787.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.51% to 6.6020, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4365.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.368.
