Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 1.64% or 12.0 points to trade at 744.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.56% or 0.59 points to end at 38.51 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.31% or 1.10 points to 85.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 1.77% or 8.2 points to trade at 455.3 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.61% or 9.5 points to end at 581.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.25% or 0.8 points to 318.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 32 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) rose to all time highs; rising 1.64% or 12.0 to 744.0. Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell to 52-week highs; losing 0.25% or 0.8 to 318.7.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $51.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.11 to hit $57.12 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 8.05 to trade at $1281.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.63% to 6.3197, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4431.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 93.56.
