Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.55% or 9.7 points to trade at 390.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.14% or 11.5 points to end at 550.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.85% or 240 points to 13220 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 3.86% or 26.5 points to trade at 660.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.05% or 3.9 points to end at 367.9 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.72% or 2.1 points to 287.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 31 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.50% or 0.73 to $48.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.73% or 0.90 to hit $51.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 2.95 to trade at $1291.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.3093, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 93.24.
