Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.02% or 2.1 points to trade at 106.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 1.90% or 11.40 points to end at 612.60 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.80% or 3.45 points to 195.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 2.15% or 13.0 points to trade at 591.2 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.88% or 4.8 points to end at 250.0 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.87% or 4.2 points to 219.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 61 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.90% or 11.40 to 612.60.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.67% or 2.12 to $59.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.73% or 2.39 to hit $66.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.87% or 12.25 to trade at $1412.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.6318, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4646.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 96.713.
