Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.09% or 18.9 points to trade at 390.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.51% or 15.5 points to end at 632.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.61% or 0.61 points to 38.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 2.27% or 27.0 points to trade at 1165.0 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.94% or 3.1 points to end at 325.6 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.73% or 80 points to 10830.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 38 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.18% or 0.66 to $56.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.40% or 0.86 to hit $62.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.40 to trade at $1254.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3119, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.63.
