Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 5.44% or 1,080.00 points to trade at 20,920.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 5.27% or 1,080.00 points to end at 21,580.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 2.97% or 66.00 points to 2,286.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.19% or 3.35 points to trade at 101.70 at the close. Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.44% or 11.60 points to end at 463.80 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.92% or 17.80 points to 907.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.92% or 3.10 to $109.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.47% or 2.70 to hit $112.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 12.45 to trade at $1,987.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 98.87.
