Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which rose 3.79% or 3.8 points to trade at 104.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) added 2.43% or 6.2 points to end at 261.5 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.07% or 2.9 points to 275.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 2.42% or 250 points to trade at 10060 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.35% or 10.6 points to end at 773.4 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.80% or 7.8 points to 962.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.23% or 0.73 to $59.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.42% or 0.91 to hit $65.11 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 7.35 to trade at $1479.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7192, while EUR/DKK rose 0.06% to 7.4737.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 97.175.
