Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.23% or 162 points to trade at 7420 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 1.41% or 1.4 points to end at 104.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.34% or 7.6 points to 576.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb), which fell 0.98% or 3.0 points to trade at 302.0 at the close. Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 0.88% or 5.00 points to end at 561.80 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 0.78% or 1.50 points to 191.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 62 to 61 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.32% or 0.17 to $52.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.79% or 0.49 to hit $61.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1344.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.6482, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4680.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 96.930.
