Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.65% or 3.0 points to trade at 184.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.11% or 4.40 points to end at 399.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.11% or 102 points to 9256 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 1.66% or 3.6 points to trade at 213.8 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 1.33% or 3.4 points to end at 251.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.14% or 7.2 points to 622.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 44 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.30% or 1.58 to $67.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.89% or 1.46 to hit $75.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1203.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.4191, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4559.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.09.
