Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.92% or 11.8 points to trade at 626.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.87% or 9.6 points to end at 521.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.82% or 17.6 points to 984.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 4.25% or 19.9 points to trade at 448.7 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.25% or 8.0 points to end at 630.6 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was down 0.46% or 1.8 points to 393.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.25% or 19.9 to 448.7.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.30% or 2.33 to $72.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.08% or 1.58 to hit $77.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1256.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.56% to 6.4333, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 94.84.
