Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.19% or 240.00 points to trade at 11,180.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.18% or 230.00 points to end at 10,780.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.53% or 17.50 points to 1,162.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which fell 4.03% or 26.50 points to trade at 630.50 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.57% or 6.80 points to end at 258.20 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 2.14% or 3.40 points to 155.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.12% or 0.79 to $71.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.11% or 0.81 to hit $74.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 15.95 to trade at $2,668.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.69, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 100.32.
