Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.40% or 3.80 points to trade at 274.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.65% or 4.40 points to end at 678.40 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.29% or 0.50 points to 173.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 2.93% or 13.90 points to trade at 460.00 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 2.09% or 6.50 points to end at 303.90 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.95% or 205.00 points to 10,285.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) rose to 5-year highs; up 0.29% or 0.50 to 173.60.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.51% or 3.46 to $73.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 4.15% or 3.37 to hit $77.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.13% or 22.15 to trade at $1,986.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.24.
