Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 3.77% or 6.0 points to trade at 165.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.70% or 154 points to end at 9204 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.05% or 3.1 points to 302.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 2.23% or 9.4 points to trade at 412.9 at the close. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 2.09% or 3.3 points to end at 154.8 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 2.07% or 12.2 points to 576.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $75.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $84.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.50% or 17.90 to trade at $1209.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.4494, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4559.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.03.
