Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which rose 3.68% or 22.0 points to trade at 619.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 2.41% or 7.6 points to end at 323.6 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 1.79% or 10.5 points to 596.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which fell 7.85% or 38.0 points to trade at 446.3 at the close. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) declined 0.48% or 0.7 points to end at 144.9 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was down 0.30% or 1.1 points to 370.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 74 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.67% or 0.40 to $60.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.41% or 0.27 to hit $63.69 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.44% or 5.20 to trade at $1180.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.45% to 6.6406, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4584.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 95.34.
