Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.11% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.50% or 7.20 points to trade at 118.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 0.99% or 3.10 points to end at 316.40 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 0.97% or 120.00 points to 12,460.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 4.41% or 17.40 points to trade at 377.00 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.48% or 2.92 points to end at 194.20 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.05% or 1.75 points to 165.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.50% or 7.20 to 118.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.16% or 0.89 to $77.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.61% or 0.50 to hit $82.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 6.55 to trade at $2,051.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 103.33.
