Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.11% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.18% or 495.00 points to trade at 16,085.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.05% or 470.00 points to end at 15,890.00 and Bavarian Nordic (CSE:BAVA) was up 1.96% or 4.70 points to 245.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 1.84% or 4.00 points to trade at 213.60 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.50% or 1.60 points to end at 104.80 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 0.66% or 8.50 points to 1,282.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 72 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.47% or 0.36 to $76.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.57% or 0.47 to hit $83.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.95 to trade at $1,852.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 103.79.
