Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 3.42% or 3.8 points to trade at 115.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.94% or 26.5 points to end at 1390.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 1.83% or 10.0 points to 555.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 3.45% or 22.40 points to trade at 627.60 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) declined 2.39% or 13.8 points to end at 562.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 2.18% or 174 points to 7790.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 55 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.57% or 0.93 to $58.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.46% or 0.94 to hit $63.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 3.45 to trade at $1516.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.7479, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4674.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 97.877.
