Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 7.75% or 542 points to trade at 7534 at the close. Meanwhile, Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) added 4.96% or 27 points to end at 562 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 4.64% or 8.8 points to 198.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 2.77% or 6.2 points to trade at 217.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 1.94% or 21.0 points to end at 1062.5 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 1.84% or 36.5 points to 1948.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 44 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.92% or 0.34 to $36.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.88% or 0.35 to hit $39.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.70% or 29.40 to trade at $1704.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.69% to 6.6278, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4534.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 97.200.
