Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.60% or 6.7 points to trade at 425.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.30% or 3.4 points to end at 264.7 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.00% or 1.2 points to 121.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.77% or 4.7 points to trade at 260.9 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.30% or 110 points to end at 8365 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 1.04% or 85 points to 8055.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 57 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.65% or 0.77 to $45.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.68% or 0.80 to hit $46.81 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1328.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.7213, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 96.59.
