Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 6.66% or 35.6 points to trade at 570.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.71% or 5.2 points to end at 309.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.40% or 4.7 points to 340.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 3.25% or 14.7 points to trade at 438.3 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.34% or 214 points to end at 8948 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 2.22% or 190 points to 8385.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 6.66% or 35.6 to 570.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.31% or 0.90 to $67.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.09% or 1.55 to hit $72.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.30 to trade at $1217.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.26% to 6.3902, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4519.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.48.
