Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 4.36% or 395 points to trade at 9465 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.64% or 350 points to end at 9956 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.84% or 6.5 points to 359.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 1.94% or 7.9 points to trade at 400.2 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.87% or 4.1 points to end at 215.4 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was down 1.64% or 3.60 points to 216.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.87% or 4.1 to 215.4.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.63% or 0.43 to $68.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.38% or 1.02 to hit $74.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.90 to trade at $1317.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.1598, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 91.52.
